2016年上海师范大学外国留学生“孔子学院奖学金”招生办法
一、奖学金类型及申请条件
以下所有奖学金类型的申请人均须为非中国籍公民,身体健康,年龄一般在16至35周岁之间(在职汉语教师可放宽至45周岁)。
1,汉语国际教育专业硕士
资助期限为2学年。申请者须具有学士学位或相当学历,汉语水平不低于HSK五级180分、HSKK中级50分,提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
2,一学年汉语研修+汉语国际教育专业硕士
资助期限为3学年。申请者须提供与孔子学院或拟任教单位签订的协议,具有学士学位或相当学历,汉语水平不低于HSK三级180分、HSKK初级60分。
3,一学年汉语研修生
资助期限为11个月。面向孔子学院(课堂)学员,海外本土汉语教师、中文专业学生、HSK考试成绩优秀者,不招收在华留学生。汉语水平不低于HSK三级180分、HSKK初级60分,或者不低于BCT(A)180分、BCT(口语)180分。
4,一学期汉语研修生
资助期限为5个月。申请者无来华留学经历,汉语水平不低于HSK二级120分、HSKK初级40分,或者不低于BCT(A)100分、BCT(口语)120分。
二、申请步骤
1,联系推荐机构,国家汉办指定的推荐机构如下:
各国孔子学院(独立设置的孔子课堂),有关海外汉语考试考点,中国驻外使(领)馆教育、文化处(组),接收院校和未建孔子学院国家的有关高等学校
(其中接受院校只能推荐汉语国际教育硕士,且名额有限,如需我校推荐,请与我校相关人员联系)
2,登陆孔子学院奖学金网站(http://cis.chinese.cn)注册个人账号,选择推荐机构,在线填写、提交《孔子学院奖学金申请表》。
3,上传以下材料的电子文档:
1)护照照片页。
2)HSK、HSKK成绩报告。
3)经过公证的最高学历(毕业预定证明或在校学习证明)。
4)推荐信及承诺书。
汉语国际教育专业硕士申请者须同时提交两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信(用中文或英文书写),以及毕业后至少从事5年汉语教学工作的承诺书。未建孔子学院国家的有关高校中文专业学生,须另提供校长签发的推荐信。
5)未满18周岁的申请者,须提交委托在华法定监护人的相关法律文件。
6)“汉语桥”世界大、中学生中文比赛来华复赛获奖者须提供奖学金证书。各国分赛区优胜者须提供获奖证明和赛区主办单位出具的推荐函。
7)在职汉语教师须提交就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。
8)申请“一学年研修+汉语国际教育专业硕士”连读学习的,须提交与孔子学院或拟任教单位签订的协议。

五、注意事项
1,申请时间
本项目为全年招生。
汉语国际教育专业硕士、一学年研修+汉语国际教育专业硕士仅可选择9月1日入学。一学年研修生、一学期研修生可选择在3月1日入学。
为了保证入学手续的办理时间,请于入学时间前至少2个月提出申请。
2,奖学金住宿条件及收费标准
孔子学院奖学金生住宿条件为双人间,包括独立卫生间、中央空调、网络、冰箱、电话、电视机、书桌、床铺等。宿舍楼内有洗衣房和自炊间。
如需申请单人间,需要另外支付6000元一学期(4个月)。
3,遴选标准
除符合孔子学院总部奖学金招生办法外,我校将会对符合条件的申请者进行网络面试。
热爱汉语、热爱中国文化,在中国文化、艺术方面具有一定造诣的申请者将会优先考虑。
4,年度评审
按照《孔子学院奖学金年度评审办法》的规定,汉语国际教育专业硕士生(含一学年研修+汉语国际教育专业硕士生)须参加年度评审,符合条件者方可继续享受下一年度奖学金。

Recruitment Procedures for Confucius Institute Scholarship
Shanghai Normal University (2016)
Ⅰ. Category of Scholarship and Eligibility Criteria
The candidates of all the following categories should be no-Chinese nationality, with good health condition, aged between 16 and 35 (Applicant is currently working in a Chinese language teaching position shall not exceed the age limit of 45. Undergraduate student shall not exceed the age limit of 20).
1. Scholarship for Students of Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(MTCSOL)
This category provides a sponsorship for 2 academic years. Applicant should own a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, a minimum score of 180 in HSK Test (Level 5), and a minimum score of 50 in HSKK Test (Intermediate Level). Applicant who is able to provide the employment agreement or certification upon finishing the study from designated working institutions is preferred.
2. Scholarship for Students of One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL
This category provides a sponsorship for 3 academic years. Applicant should provide the employment agreement from a designated Confucius Institute or a prospective working institution. Applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, a minimum score of 180 in HSK Test (Level 3), and a minimum score of 60 in HSKK Test (Beginner Level).
3. Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Students
This category provides a sponsorship for 11 months. Application is open to Confucius Institute (Classroom) students, overseas Chinese language teachers, Chinese language major students and excellent performers in HSK test. International students who are now studying in China are not eligible for the scholarship. Applicant should have a minimum score of 180 in HSK Test (Level 3), and 60 in HSKK test (Beginner Level). Alternatively, applicant should hold a minimum score of 180 in BCT (A) , and a minimum score of 180 BCT (Speaking).
4. Scholarship for One-Semester Students
This category provides a sponsorship for 5 months. Applicant should have no prior experience of studying in China, but have a minimum score of 120 in HSK Test (Level 2), and a minimum score of 40 in HSKK (Beginner Level). Alternatively, applicant should have a minimum score of 100 in BCT (A), and a minimum score of 120 in BCT (Speaking).
Ⅱ. Recruitment Procedures
1. Contact the recommending institutions, including:
Confucius Institutes (independently set-up Confucius Classrooms), overseas Chinese test centers, educational and cultural offices (sections) of Chinese Embassies (Consulates), host institutes and institutions of higher education in those countries with no Confucius Institutes are entrusted by Hanban as the recommending institutions.(Host institutes can only recommend the MTCSOL, and the number of persons designated is limited. If you need recommendation from our university, please contact us.)
2. Submit the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form online:
From the issue date of the Procedures, applicants can log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarship website at http://cis.chinese.cn, set up an individual account, choose the recommending institute, complete and submit the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form online.
3. Upload the electronic files of the following materials:(For those recommended by other institutes, please refer the check list to your own recommending institute.)
⑴. Photocopy of passport photo page.
⑵. Photocopies of HSK、HSKK score reports.
⑶. Notarized highest education diploma attained(scheduled graduation proof or official proof of student status).
⑷. Reference letter and letter of commitment.
The MTCSOL Scholarship applicants are required to submit two reference letters from professors or associate professors (in Chinese or English) and a written commitment stating that the applicant will be engaged in Chinese language teaching for at least 5 years after graduation (written in Chinese and signed). College students majored in Chinese in countries with no Confucius Institutes established shall submit a reference letter signed and issued by the university President.
⑸. Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant legal documents of entrusted legal guardians in China.
⑹. Winners of the finals of the “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students and for Foreign High School Students in China shall submit the certificate of scholarship. Winners of preliminary rounds of the “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competitions in their countries shall submit award proof and a reference letter from the Chinese Embassy (or Consulate) in the competition area.
⑺. Chinese language teachers shall submit the proof of the length of time in teaching and weekly teaching hours provided by institutes they work for.
⑻. Those applying for scholarship of One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL are required to provide the agreement signed with the Confucius Institute or the institute which they will be working for.
⑼.Those applying for Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages should also submit the APPLICATION FORM FOR ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS(SHNU).

Ⅴ. Notice
1. Application deadline
Scholarship recruitment is open all year round.
Students undertaking MTCSOL program and “One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL” program can only choose to start from the fall semester .
Students undertaking One-Academic-Year program and One-Semester program can choose both fall semester and spring semester..
In order to ensure enough time for enrollment procedures, you are required to submit your application at least 2 month in advance.
2. Accommodation
The university dormitory offers double room with private bathroom, air-conditioner, wifi, fridge, telephone, TV, desk, bed etc. The public laundry and kitchen are also available in the building.
If you want to apply for a single room, you should pay 6000RMB/semester (one semester=4 months)

3. Selection criteria
Besides the criteria set up by the Confucius Institute Scholarship committee, the candidate will also be required to have an online interview.
Students who have deep love for Chinese language, Chinese culture, specialized in Chinese culture and art are given priority.
4. Annual Appraisal
Students undertaking MTCSOL(including One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL) shall be subject to an annual appraisal after being enrolled according to the “Annual Appraisal Procedures for Confucius Institute Scholarship”. Only the eligible students are entitled to continue to receive the scholarships in the following year.
